We are Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham, a community mental health charity. We're here to make sure anyone with a mental health or emotional issue has somewhere to turn for advice and support.
We believe that "Without Mental Health there is No Health". Some of our staff members have lived experience of mental health either as a service user themselves or through caring for a family member. We understand how difficult it can be for anyone exposed to mental health issues and the impact this can have on others.
Competitive Solutions have supported MITHN for over 7 years and during that time they have supported us to shape our organisation.
In 2007 our income was approximately £750K and was primarily Local Authority contracts. Although there have been periods of fluctuating income, (sign of the times) through the support of Competitive Solutions we are now looking towards an income of £1.9million in 2019, with a broader range of statutory contracts and non-statutory grants.
Competitive Solutions have supported our organisation to build our fundraising strategy, to explore new areas of work and to challenge us to maintain an innovative forward-thinking approach to income generation.
The CSL staff have supported our Strategic Planning as well as supported the development of our team to generate new ideas, ways of working and winning resources.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Competitive Solutions to other charities.
